The Only Sticky Mug Cake Recipe You’ll Ever Need [Vegan]

I’ve always been an adamant microwave hater, up until this afternoon. Here is proof that, when provided with adequately convincing reasons, negative opinions can change. I find that a fluffy, moist, no fuss, single-serving sticky cake that’s basically ready in five minutes is a pretty darn adequately convincing reason not to hate microwaves (so much) anymore. I’ve always found the idea of making a microwave mug cake appealing, but could never quite muster the willpower to sit down, find a recipe (amongst the millions out there), gather the ingredients and get the kitchen in a mess just for one little pudding. The main reason, however, was that the recipe-finding bit always took me so long that I was fed up of it before I even started! So I came up with a super-simple, five-minute base recipe to curb that after-dinner pudding craving – it’s up to you if you want to add to it.
